Uptake is a New Zealand business, Legal business name is Southern Fertiliser Company LTD trading as Uptake

While shopping online with Uptake, you are subject to the Terms and Conditions below which should be reviewed before any orders are placed.

We reserve the right to make adjustments to the given Terms and Conditions without notice, and as such, ask that customers review them each time they use the Uptake on line services.

We at Uptake make every effort to accurately and honestly present current product and site information to our customers. We apologize for any and all errors and misinformation, which are all unintended.

We at Uptake have done our best to ensure images of our product range are accurate depictions of the actual product; however we do not guarantee that the differences in a monitor’s display of colours are accurate. The descriptions and information supplied is true to the real product at the time of website publication.

All material on this site, including, but not limited to images, and illustrations is protected by copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights which are owned and controlled by Uptake, its related companies or by other parties that have licensed their material to Uptake.

Use of the materials on any other Web site or for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial use is a violation of Uptake’s copyrights, trademarks and other proprietary rights, and is strictly prohibited.

Privacy Policy

Uptake is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers.

Personal information provided online is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling orders, or for Uptake to contact you.

We will ensure our customer information is kept strictly confidential, and we will never pass your correspondence information onto any third party.

Product Availability

If for any reason we cannot fulfill your order, we will contact you and advise you of your options. Either a refund, if paid by internet banking, or a reduced DPS payment for the amount of the out of stock item, or a delayed delivery - awaiting the out of stock item. We will happily advise you of the item's availability if you still require the out of stock item at a later date. You will be given the option of the entire order to be held until the item is back in stock.

Returns and Faulty Goods Policy

Unsuitable:

You may return goods within 14 days if they are unsuitable. Items returned requiring a refund must be in an unused condition & have all the original packaging & labeling intact.

We will fully refund the price of the goods returned deducting the original freight. Return of goods is at your cost.

Faulty goods:

In the unlikely event that a product purchased from us is faulty, we will offer you the choice of a refund or replacement. If you choose a replacement, it will be dispatched to you free of charge. If you opt for a refund, we will also reimburse you for the cost of returning the faulty item to us, once Uptake has received the returned goods.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused you.

Damaged:

Please carefully check your package when received for any signs of damage & do not sign or accept delivery if external damages are found. The transport company’s responsibility is to return the product to us. Please notify us on 0800 999 116 within 48 hours upon opening if your items have been damaged in transit.

All of our deliveries are carefully packed to keep transit damage to a minimum. We will replace all items broken in transit & in the event the item is out of stock we will give you a choice of a refund or re-supply at a later date.

Freight Policy

Product can be sent via our freight service or can be held in store for collection.

Delivery fees will apply for all online orders.

Please allow 4 to 7 days for delivery of your order from receipt of payment. Please note deliveries are not made over weekends or public holidays.

Delivery is made by Freight Company; therefore we do need a physical address. Please carefully check your order when received for any signs of damage & DO NOT SIGN or accept delivery if external damages are found. (Refer to damages section above for full details).

North Island Freight: $70

South Island Freight: $90

We will contact you prior to dispatching your order, or the wrong freight option has been inadvertently selected. Also note, there are some items which require us to quote you for freight.

Freight costs on International goods will be quoted prior to dispatch

Pricing

All prices shown are in NZ dollars, and include GST.

Payment

Payment can be made via the trusted DPS secure credit card payment facility.

"UPTAKE" will appear on cardholder statements for any transactions through this website. 

Alternatively you can arrange to pay via direct credit using your personal online bank account to make payment to Uptake. Please ensure to include your name in the reference field.
